The decision to place your child in daycare is a personal one that involves several layers of both emotional and logical reasoning. About 5 years ago, I found myself in this predicament after having my first child. I struggled with the reality that I lived in Southern California, one of the most expensive metropolitan areas in the country--the reality that I had to work was immanent. The quest to find a trust-worthy child-care facility was paramount.
Having said that, I conducted my due-diligence by researching and interviewing all local childcare facilities; from at-home locations, to ‘mega-centers’. I hired an outside agency to assist me in locating different files and reports for all of the local facilities. I decided that sending my child to a “center”, or “mega-center” did not suit my personal needs because I knew I wanted my daughter to feel as close to home as she possibly could while away from me. After meeting with Yvonne, and touring her facility, I knew right away that I had found the right person to care for my daughter while I worked.
Yvonne is now a personal friend of mine, in which I trust. Not only do I know her as a business owner, but I have come to know her entire family. Yvonne also has her own children that I also have gotten to know personally, and they all have the same loving disposition as she. If you are struggling with the decision on where to place your child, I highly recommend Yvonne as she incorporates a harmonious balance of care, compassion, and positive-persuasion in which you will notice in your child’s’ behavior.

Dear Prospective Parents,
Yvonne's Kids Childcare Program has been more than a Day Care Center for my daughter Alyssa. They have helped her grow and develop from an infant into a healthy and intelligent toddler. When arriving, Alyssa was one year old and was still crawling and had not interacted with other children her age. Since then, she is running and playing with the other children, can count from 1-10 and knows some of her colors, shapes and songs. They have specific areas dedicated to the children and an outdoor playground.
Yvonne's Kids Childcare Program also provides nutritious meals in the morning and afternoon, plus will keep a close eye on Alyssa to make us aware of any changes that we should be made aware of.

To Prospective Parents of Yvonne’s Kid’s Quality Childcare,
If you are the worrier and super nervous parent like I was and still am then I hope this letter of reference will ease your anxiety. I have had the privilege of knowing Yvonne and her family for over 8 years and have had all 4 of my children in her care at one time or another.
My children now ages 18, 15, 8 and 4 were all part of her childcare at different phases of their lives. My oldest two (Christian and Charles) were part of her before and after care while in elementary and middle school. My now 8 year old (Byron) was with her from 6 months until he was 5 years old and my baby (Justus) was with her from 4 months of age until he was 8 months old which is when I decided to become a full-time stay at home mommy.
I have so many fond memories(and pictures thanks to her) of my babies hitting certain milestones while in her care and my oldest being treated like one of her own that this letter can quickly turn into a 10 page essay.
I can say emphatically that you will find no better place for your baby (no matter the age). I’ve seen them all from centers to other childcare homes and no one was more cleaner, loving, emotionally supportive, caring and just outright great than Yvonne.
Did I mention the bikes, toys, play sets, books, etc. she has. Looks just like a kindergarten class.
Oh, and one last thing. You better hurry and get your spot because she notoriously fills up fast! Seriously.

It is my pleasure to write this letter of reference for Yvonne Withers. Yvonne provided childcare for my daughter, Sierra for the first 3 ½ years of her life. My husband and I both feel blessed that we were able to find such a nurturing environment for our daughter.
Many things impressed me about Yvonne and her Day Care program, including her organization, the structured curriculum, learning materials available to the children, and the diversity of activities and projects.
Yvonne takes the time to ask parents what they would like to see in the upcoming year. With that, she implements and purchases new items for the facility such as: tables, chairs, books, videos, crafts, and toys. I had looked at other day cares, but Yvonne kept everything up-to-date, and clean! She always took the parents input, and kept them well informed of their child’s day to day activities.
Yvonne always gave constant care and love to all the children. I would highly recommend Yvonne Withers as a day care provider to any parent that is looking for care. If I had to do it all over again, I would not change a thing in my selection of day care. My daughter has flourished into a bright, outgoing, and positive child. Yvonne Withers was my full-time childcare provider from 2004 to 2006. Tristan was almost two and Courtney was eight years old when returned to the workforce after being a stay at home Mom for 2 years. I shopped around diligently for the right in home childcare and I could not have made a better choice when I selected the Withers Family Day Care. Yvonne cared for my two children as if they were her own. I get emotional as I remember the care she provided. My children were never reluctant to go to Yvonne’s in the morning and were regularly greeted with a hot breakfast and always a warm welcoming smile.
Tristan was at daycare fulltime from 7:00 – 4:30. She learned something new everyday. Yvonne had the children on a regular routine that included playtime, art, story reading, and music, out door play, snacks, and lunch and of course nap time. Yvonne helped my husband and I mold a beautiful, helpful, kind and smart little girl. She was praised often and the occasional inappropriate behavior was taken care of with a quick time out. My husband loved that Tristan was clean and well kept during the day and when we picked her up. Tristan loves Ms. Yvonne and her husband Mr. Mike and speaks of them often.
Courtney was in daycare part-time as she was already school age. She was taken care of in the same loving manner as Tristan. Yvonne transported the children in a clean vehicle to and from school. Courtney was never late for school and was picked up promptly in a well supervised designated spot. One time Courtney was kept after school and when she was not at the pick up spot Yvonne went directly to the office. She was prepared with Courtney’s file complete with her authorization for school pick up and Courtney’s current picture just incase. The school and I were both very impressed. After school care consisted of a snack and homework time complete with help as needed. There was a separate area for the bigger kids to allow the siblings their own space which Courtney looked forward to daily.
In closing I can honestly say that Yvonne has truly been a blessing and we not only would recommend her services but also plan on hiring her again for before and after school care for Tristan next year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

We have been completely satisfied with the quality of care that Yvonne and Mike Withers have given our child. Yvonne and Mike were completely dependable. They provided transportation to and from school for our son without fail. After school, they supplied a snack and excellent homework supervision. The bulk of Jake's homework was usually completed before we picked him up in the evening. After homework time, he was allowed to play in the backyard or the exceptional game room that Yvonne and Mike have constructed for the older children. It is hard to convey the peace of mind that Yvonne's Kids Childcare Program was able to provide us. Our situation was unique because we share custody of Jake with his mother. Yvonne and Mike worked with us to ensure that we created an atmosphere of stability that eased the transition between both homes.
